There was a special election for Congress in NY-19 last night. Democrat vs. Republican.

It was a district Joe Biden won by 1 point in 2020. Trump won it in 2016.

Most people wrote this race off. The pundits said Republicans would flip it because 2022 is supposed to be bad for Democrats.

VoteVets put $500,000 into the race — spending made possible because of donations from people like you.

We were the only Democratic group to significantly spend in the race.

Last night, Democrat Pat Ryan won. He’s going to Congress. Daily Kos called VoteVets the “Hero of the night.” But the truth is, we did it together.
