John, today is a special day for me. On August 24, 2017 – exactly five years ago today – I announced my first run for Congress.
Before I tell you more about that day and the journey we’ve taken since then, I have to ask: The election is just 76 days away, and I need your continued support to win in November. If you’re able, is there anything you can give to my re-election campaign today?

On a sunny day at Kennedy Park in my hometown of Lewiston, I shared with you my story. I told you about how I grew up in Leeds mowing grass at my family’s business, and how I felt the call to serve after watching the twin towers fall on September 11th as a freshman at the University of Maine in Farmington. I then went on to complete combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as a member of the Marine Corps.
Most importantly, I made a promise to always put Maine first. I gave you my word that I’d have your back, and I’ve worked hard to stand by that word these last four years in Washington.
I haven’t been perfect, but I’ve tried to deliver the kind of leadership Mainers tell me they want, and to show my understanding that now more than ever, people want elected officials to set aside their differences and stand together to face the serious challenges of our time. I’ll work with anyone – Democrat, Republican, or Independent – to get things done for Maine and for our country.
Since our historic victory in 2018, we’ve built a line of defense against corruption, corporate greed, and attacks on our health care. Now, if you’re able to, I need you to step up again – because whether it’s a woman’s right to make her own health care choices, collective bargaining rights, or the promise of Medicare and Social Security, so much is at stake in this election.
John, I won’t sugarcoat it. Dark money groups with deep pockets have targeted this district, and the GOP considers my seat a top target. I’m committed to fighting for you in Congress, but I need your help to protect this seat.
If you can, will you make a donation to our people-first, grassroots campaign today? I’ve worked hard to be your voice in Washington these past few years, and I would be honored to continue to be your representative.
