Republicans in Congress are facing yet another test of loyalty -- courtesy of their leader, Donald Trump.

Earlier today, we got an update regarding the classified documents former President Trump was allegedly storing at Mar-a-Lago. According to the National Archives, the 700 pages and 15 boxes retrieved contained some documents considered to be "among the government's most classified."

The evidence against Trump has only become more damning in recent days. Unfortunately, dozens of my Republican colleagues in Congress are continuing to defend Trump with truly disgusting attacks on federal law enforcement. We've heard it all in the last week, including absurd comparisons to Nazi Germany and calls to "defund the FBI.” This is the state of today's Republican Party. Its foundation is built on Trump's lies, and if you don't fall in line, you are cast aside.

I believe we need to fully fund and support our law enforcement -- not attack them.
