A few hours ago we received a big update on the Budget and the economy. It’s not pretty.

It’s official: Economic growth is down again, wages growth is down again and unemployment is higher.

The Liberals and Nationals promised to make the economy “even stronger” but instead it’s even weaker on their watch.

Most of the debt in the Budget has accumulated on their watch.

They like to pretend that they’re the better economic managers, but this update destroys their economic credibility.

Without a plan for growth, wages and jobs, Australians will continue to pay a heavy price for Scott Morrison’s incompetence and inaction on the economy.
