John, because of this community’s incredible generosity this summer, we were able to raise the critical funds we need to help children stay healthy, educated and safe from harm.

As a special thank you for your commitment, we put together an interactive 2022 Midyear Impact Report so dedicated champions for children like you can see firsthand the incredible impact of your support.

Inside, you’ll find stories and videos showing how your generosity has helped change the lives of children like 7-year-old Lara*, who lives with her family in a displacement camp in Syria. Three years ago, violent conflict near her home forced her family to flee.

Save the Children provided Lara and other children in the displacement camp with a mobile library and psychosocial care to help keep them learning and recover from trauma, on top of other vital resources. Our efforts are possible because of supporters like you stepping up in big moments for children in crisis. Now, Lara is on her way to a brighter future:

“When I grow up, I want to become a teacher and teach children so they don’t stay out of school.”
