Stand Up for Women's Equality! 

This Friday, Aug. 26, let’s commemorate Women’s Equality Day! We will recognize the date on which the 19th Amendment was officially certified and pledge to keep fighting for women’s equality! Stand with retired state Sen. Loretta Weinberg; Morris County Democratic women elected officials, candidates and leaders at the Morristown Town Hall, 200 South St., beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The event is part of a “Women’s Weekend of Action” organized by Morris County Democrats to raise awareness of the upcoming Fall election and the importance of voting this year!

Rally goers are encouraged to show their support by wearing a “See You in ROEvember” or a “1973” T-shirt; or to wear white, the color of women’s suffrage. The T-shirt sales benefit our Women’s Caucus.

Raise Funds for Women Candidates!

Our Women’s Caucus is raising a glass and raising funds to support women candidates across Morris County on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m., at Barka restaurant in Mountain Lakes. Tickets are going fast!

About the The Morris County Democrats’ “Weekend of Action”

The Morris County Democrats’ “Weekend of Action” calls for women and allies to take actions in support of candidates up and down the ballot who will stand up for women’s rights and equality, including Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Rep. Tom Malinowski.

Are you heading back to campus or have a student in your family returning to school? Make sure they fill out a Vote By Mail application in advance. Let’s not leave a single vote on the table!
