Hello. Dr. Bob Lorinser here. I'm reaching out to you directly this afternoon to ask for your help. I'm running for Congress in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula against the embattled incumbent, Rep. Jack Bergman.
If you don't know my opponent, he's the sole Congressman responsible for igniting the Jan. 6 attack on the capitol. His "inappropriate involvement" in an election lawsuit fueled the Big Lie right from our district, in Antrim County, MI. He coordinated with out-of-state operatives who intimidated local clerks about perfectly functioning voting machines.
The Antrim Report from that investigation triggered many people across the Nation into falsely believing the election wasn't valid. He joined lawsuits challenging the results, and voted to de-certify the election, discounting voters in an attempt to subvert Democracy
Bergman also celebrated the Dobb's ruling, which was a tragedy for individual liberties, bodily autonomy, and reproductive freedom. A referendum for reproductive freedom is on the November ballot.
I need your help getting out the vote. Because of my opponent's transgressions against Democracy, we're in a good position to flip the district and bring principled leadership back to Northern Michigan and the U.P. Recent polls show a +14 swing in our favor, which means the race is now competitive and we can win.
Early voting begins at the end of September, in just a few short weeks. We need to amp up our efforts now.
