There is a serious and sinister threat to our democracy that is rapidly growing: Second Amendment extremism.
Recently, a gunman who had ties to extremist groups, armed with an AR-15, opened fire on an FBI building in Cincinnati. One group he belonged to had participated in the January 6 insurrection. This is exactly the kind of incident that the FBI has warned against and that is happening again and again.

These threats are fueled by extremist politicians like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — who called FBI informants "traitors" — and Trump supporters who are calling for a civil war. And while Second Amendment extremism grows, gun sales have soared to record breaking numbers in recent years.
It is urgent that our leaders pass state & federal gun violence prevention laws, support a reasonable construction of the Second Amendment, and crack down on the criminal gun market – that’s why Brady is working so tirelessly and will continue to, but only with your support.
