My mission in Congress is to deliver results for our community, and I’m proud of the impact I have made for VA-07.

Last week, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law which delivers on one of my major promises to our community – to lower prescription drug costs.

Among its many benefits, this law will finally allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices.

The cost of insulin will be capped at $35 per month for diabetic patients on Medicare and seniors will see Medicare out-of-pocket drug prices capped at $2,000 per year.

This is a major step forward in making healthcare more affordable for Virginians and I am proud to have advocated for it.

A moment like this is a major reminder of what good governance can accomplish, and I’m eager to continue delivering for VA-07, but I need your support.
