Hi, friend, it's Lis.

I know it’s been awhile. But I wanted to share with you one of the reasons that I’m so proud to be a Democrat right now: our bench. We have some of the brightest and newest stars in our party – leaders who will be shaping the agenda and delivering results for years to come. 

This community, of course, is no stranger to spotting talent early on and looking beyond Washington to find the leaders this moment requires.

With so much on the line in November, Win the Era is partnering with the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) to support a group of amazing candidates running at the state level. 

Tomorrow, please join Win the Era and DLCC on August 24th at 5:30pm ET for a conversation with Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow, Nevada Assemblywoman Sandra Jauregui, and Florida Senator Shevrin Jones. Jessica Post, the president of the DLCC, will be there too and I’ll be moderating.

On so many of the important issues we care about – abortion rights, climate change, protecting democracy – the decisions that will shape people’s lives are made at the state level. If we want to see our values win the day, then we have to support candidates who can run and win in their communities.
