John, the Central Valley is my home. It’s where I raised my family, started my teaching career, and planted my roots.
Like many residents in our community, starting my life here wasn’t easy. My husband John and I struggled early on to make ends meet, and we raised our three children on the apple orchard where he worked.
I’m not a politician, John. I know the challenges families in our community are facing because I’ve faced them myself. We need jobs that pay the bills, access to affordable healthcare and guarantee a dignified wage for all hard-working Americans.
The Central Valley and High Desert deserve a representative who’s walked a mile in their shoes. My opponent Kevin McCarthy is out of touch with the problems we’re facing. He’s a career politician who’d rather push his own political agenda and create partisan gridlock than fight for his constituents.
I’m running against McCarthy to be a champion for this district. I’ll stand up to leaders of both parties to deliver real results for our community. Will you chip in $5, $25, or $50 to help me DEFEAT Kevin McCarthy in November?

It’s not hard to notice the large gap growing between working families and the super-wealthy in our own communities. At the public school where I teach English, many of my students are underprivileged, and a large portion speak English as a second language.
I got into this race to help close that economic gap and build a better, more equitable future for this district. I’m committed to working across the aisle to fix America’s supply chain issues, decrease inflation, keep our communities safe, and provide dependable water for our rural folks, farmers, and ranchers.
My Central Valley roots run deep, John. I bring my passion for this community into the classroom with me every day, and I’m ready to take that passion with me to the halls of Congress. So, if you can, please chip in $5 or more to support my campaign today.
Thanks in advance for your support.
