The Supreme Court’s unprecedented decision to overturn Roe has shifted the battle for safe and legal abortion to the states, and governors like me and candidates like Josh Shapiro are now on the frontlines of this battle.

Only Democratic governors will protect women’s right to make their own healthcare decisions in many states, and recently in Kansas we’ve seen that the grassroots momentum is on the side of defending choice.
