John –
Today marks two years since the
Kenosha riots that resulted in over 100 businesses damaged and a
community rocked forever.
Today we remember the widespread
lawlessness, mob violence, and destruction – and we must never forget
the role that Tony Evers played in fanning the flames.
Tony
Evers Has “No Regrets”
Wisconsinites in Kenosha won’t
forget the role that Tony Evers’ inaction played in the destruction of
their community. Two years ago, Tony Evers played politics with public
safety when he rejected President Trump’s offer of federal help from
the Department of Homeland Security. When the Kenosha County Board
asked Evers for 1,500 National Guard troops, Evers short changed them
with only 500.
Tony Evers sided with the
fringe-left instead of the people of Kenosha. Nonetheless, Evers said
that he had “no
regrets” about his
inaction.
It’s time to elect a governor who
will put public safety first. We hope you will join us in thinking
about the people of Kenosha today – and we hope you’ll join us in
holding Evers accountable at the ballot box this
November.
