I have a quick update for you, John:

Yesterday, ActBlue crashed and we missed out on critical donations. While it’s a minor setback, it's important we turn things around before tonight.

Will you chip in to Laura's campaign to help us catch back up on our August fundraising? Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight confirmed this race is a "toss-up," so we can't afford to slow down, not even for a second.

This is officially the most competitive gubernatorial race in the country. Falling behind on fundraising isn't an option, especially when everything we do from here on out will have a direct impact on this race.

What we raise helps fuel our voter engagement efforts, keep our ads on the air, and expands our reach to Kansans with Laura's message – before it's too late.

This race will be a nail-bitter until the very end, John. We need to make up for lost ground after yesterday's crash, so I'm asking:
