Owner of Popular Austin Barbecue Restaurant Indicted for Workers' Comp Fraud

Both the owner and manager of Austin?s?la Barbecue have been summoned to appear in court for their alleged role?in a $350,000 workers? compensation fraud scheme.

DWC?s Fraud Unit investigated the case which began back in the summer of 2016, when an employee suffered severe injuries in the restaurant's kitchen.?
