As 2019 draws to a close, our friends on the other side of the political aisle are already thinking about our seat again in 2020. But with your help, we're not going to let that happen.

They know that Trump won our district in 2016 by almost 13 points and that we won our election by just over 300 votes. Thanks to our hard work and your support, we had a more comfortable margin of victory in 2018. But with Trump back on the ballot in 2020, we need all hands on deck to make sure 2020 looks more like last year than 2016.

Giving early in the race, before the end of the year, is the best way to show Trump and the GOP that together, we can't be beaten. My campaign team set an ambitious goal to raise another $20,000 by the end of the year, and it could determine if Trump and the GOP stay out of our district in 2020.

That means we'll be able to help other Democrats get elected in neighboring districts, and with just a few more seats, we'll be able to pass legislation on everything from better schools to improved infrastructure and most importantly we can continue the fight to keep our Downriver economy growing.
