Last week, Chipotle suddenly announced they were permanently closing an Augusta, Maine store where workers had been organizing a union. Sound familiar? It's the same union busting playbook that corporations from Amazon to Starbucks have been using to stop us from building power.

Chipotle announced they were closing the store just hours before a National Labor Relations Board hearing on the store's union election. These kinds of tactics are designed to leave workers in a lurch and intimidate us. But the Augusta workers aren't backing down and neither are we.

In 2020, Chipotle's CEO made $38 million. That's 1,129 times more than the average Chipotle worker. Workers like us create the wealth for these corporations.
