I think she is the best candidate among the field…She is a strong advocate for our values--gun safety, women's reproductive rights and support for Israel, NATO assistance for the Ukraine and President Biden's agenda. She also has the most legislative experience among those running. She has been in the majority and minority in the county legislature and has gotten things done in both positions. As many of you know, I have worked on a great number of issues in our community, and Catherine has been helpful in all of them. Her accomplishments as Majority Leader of the county legislature include a ban on gun shows at the County Center and questions about salary history during job searches, and creating paid sick leave days. When in the minority, she led a successful bipartisan effort to create the County Office of Energy Conservation & Sustainability. This last item is noteworthy, since the House may change leadership after this fall's election. This is a decision regarding who will best serve the needs of the district and has the best opportunity to win and that would be Catherine!!!! Go VOTE!!
