It is a privilege to serve you and all 733,000 Alaskans who deserve a bright future.
When I moved to Alaska almost 40 years ago, I knew right away this would be my home forever. Alaskans are welcoming, hard-working, and not afraid to speak their mind when they know something isn't right.
What's not right is the unsolved inflation crisis and rising costs created by failed policies out of Washington, D.C.
What's not right is taking money owed to the people of Alaska and using it to grow the size of government.
That is why I fought so hard to deliver the largest PFD in state history, and earlier than ever before. The PFD was created for the people, not the politicians.
Elected officials need to remember that the government gets all of its authority from the people and not the other way around.
