We’ll be honest: August is one of the most important months of the year when it comes to finalizing our fall budgets. Sadly, donations have slowed to a trickle in the past 24 hours.

See, Election Day may feel far away right now, but the early investments we make NOW will make or break our success in November. While most supporters don’t start to tune into these races until October, summer is the most critical time to have these races on the top of our minds.

And at the same time, extremist state Republicans and their allies are touting their plans to dismantle voting rights and roll back abortion access after the midterms – and they’re raking in large fundraising numbers right now because of it.
