I can't go into a lot of details, but last night I joined a very small group of people who dined with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. We discussed many critical issues that I know you care deeply about.
This morning, I was at the White House with a group of conservative leaders meeting with the president and top officials to discuss issues like child care and family leave. It's not enough to simply rail against the left's socialism. We must have solutions to issues that concern working families.
My friends, it is only because of your support that I am able to meet with people at the highest levels of government to offer our advice and counsel on so many important issues.
To do that, I must have a dedicated staff to assist with policy and legislative research, the production of our daily radio commentaries and "End of Day" reports, media and travel requests. We also have security issues to contend with, and so much more.
Unfortunately, giving continues to be slow, and I cannot emphasize enough just how critical year-end giving is to our annual budget.
As the days go by, I am praying you will include American Values among the worthwhile causes that you choose to support.
We need you to pray for our success.
