Today we're announcing the departure of a longtime TFC staffer, and dear friend, Marketing Specialist, Katie Kelly. Katie is officially moving on from the Texas Film Commission to begin her next adventure at the Texas Comptroller's Office, where she'll continue to dedicate her time and tireless energy on behalf of Texans statewide.
We are so proud of the work Katie has done over the course of nearly fifteen years spent here at the TFC, where she has always been known for her unwavering commitment to improving the opportunities available to all those working within the media production community in Texas. After having a long and illustrious career working in the film industry on notable Texas projects like?"The Alamo?"(2004) and?"Miss Congeniality", Katie has continued facilitating opportunities for her colleagues as a key member of our Marketing and Administration departments at the TFC. We have absolutely no doubt she will bring this same verve to her next post and we're wishing her well as she begins a new adventure.
To those of you who have worked with Katie in the past, know that the TFC remains ready and able to continue assisting you. Please feel free to continue to reach out to us with all of your inquiries pertaining to the Texas Production Directory, our Film & Television and Digital Media Job Hotlines, the At Work With interview series, partnerships and collaborations on events, or anything else!
