John, Meet Rachel

John,

Every day, young college students are slammed with anti-Life propaganda and blatant abortion industry lies. America’s youth are drowning in a sea of radical leftist ideology.

The Texas Right to Life college, graduate, and high school students fight back the rampant abortion extremism to defend Life every single day.

Veronica Arnold Smither here. As the director of Texas Right to Life’s Education Department ([link removed]) for the past 8 years, it’s been my honor to spend countless hours with hundreds of amazing students, equipping them to lead the Pro-Life movement. This work is absolutely vital, not only to save lives on Texas campuses, but to save our very culture itself.

That is why I am so proud and honored to introduce Texas Right to Life’s newest Education Director, Rachel Bush.
I have never met a more dedicated Pro-Life champion or a better student mentor than Rachel.

Rachel has been fighting to protect the innocent and vulnerable since she was a teenager. She spent innumerable hours praying and counseling mothers and fathers outside the abortion business in her community. Even as a teen, Rachel understood the destruction and desperation caused by abortion.

As a journalism major at the University of Texas at Austin, Rachel became a Texas Right to Life Fellow. Inspired to lead, she helped establish UT’s Pro-Life club on one of the most liberal campuses in Texas. Never one to back down from her Pro-Life convictions, Rachel overcame great odds and administrative roadblocks to establish a lasting Pro-Life ministry in the heart of liberal Austin.
In 2014 Rachel joined Texas Right to Life full time as an Education Associate. I’ve worked alongside Rachel and seen her tireless efforts to transform our society into a Culture of Life. She never hesitates to travel to any corner of our great state to minister to students on their campuses.

Rachel understands the struggles, fears, and hardships Pro-Life students face in their efforts to protect the preborn and vulnerable. Having walked in their shoes as a Pro-Life student herself, no one is better equipped to guide these young students in their Pro-Life efforts than Rachel.
I felt a clear call from God to stay home with my kids and retire from my full-time role as Education Director. I am blessed to continue with Texas Right to Life on a part-time basis in the Education Department and as a co-host of The Pro-Life Podcast ([link removed]) . I could not be more confident that our Pro-Life students are in good hands with Rachel Bush. The future of the Pro-Life movement is very bright.

Rachel Bush will spearhead Texas’ efforts to take back our culture and beat the abortion industry in our schools. Life will triumph on high school campuses, universities, and, most importantly, in the hearts and minds of America’s future parents and leaders.

John, as one of Texas Right to Life’s strongest supporters, it has been my great honor to defend Life with you as Education Director. I look forward to continuing to stand alongside you in the fight for Life!

God bless you,
