The heart of Britain led the first industrial revolution. Now we have it within us to lead the Green Revolution and MAKE our green future.
Drawing on a range of early pioneering work across the region – from greening transport to retrofitting to driving forward renewable energy, we set out the goals for net zero that should be within reach, the challenges in the way, and the powers and resources local actors need to speed up progress.
At this ground breaking event, delivered together with the Warwick Manufacturing Group, we will hear from Margot James, Cllr Jim O’Boyle and Liam Byrne MP as we showcase pioneering work in technologies as diverse as energy innovation, battery technology, advanced materials like ceramics and graphite, and micromobility to provoke a debate about what the region needs to go green, cut carbon and create the jobs of the future.
The event will take place on Thursday 8th September, 10.00 am – 1.00 pm at;
Prof Lord Bhattacharyya Building (NAIC)
Lord Bhattacharyya Way
