At least 37 people have contracted E. coli in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

The CDC said the outbreak may be linked to romaine lettuce on sandwiches at Wendy's restaurants in these states. Wendy's is removing romaine lettuce from sandwiches sold in the region. 

The CDC is seeking help in finding the source of the outbreak. If you are experiencing E. coli symptoms, report your symptoms and everything you’ve eaten this week to your local health department. Conservatives Focus on 2022 Elections in Push to Amend The Constitution

A conservative movement to call a convention to amend the U.S. Constitution is gaining momentum, with organizations focusing on the 2022 primaries to campaign for Republican lawmakers that will support their plan.

Currently, 19 states have passed COS’ resolution, which states a goal to “impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.”

Southwest Spared From New Federal Cuts on Colorado River Supply

Several Southwestern states are, for now, spared from cutbacks on water supply from the Colorado River after failing to meet a federal deadline to negotiate water reductions. Deputy Interior Secretary Tommy Beaudreau reported that federal officials will continue to work with the states to reach an agreement. 

If the states cannot reach an agreement, the federal government could step in and mandate reductions. Officials said cuts could be necessary next year as well to protect the reservoirs and dams of the Colorado River. Next year's reduction could be 20 to 40 times as much water as this year's.
