Hi, John. I wanted to send out a quick thank you note to all of you who made my birthday so special this year.

I spent my birthday celebrating with my family and reflecting on all we have accomplished together in the past year. It is truly an honor to be able to serve Kansas Citians as your Mayor, and I felt overwhelmed with gratitude reading all your notes of support.

Going into year 38, I’m feeling ready and energized to take on the challenges we face to make Kansas City a better place for all and to prepare for our re-election campaign.
