Biden-Blumenthal Policies Make It More Expensive to Raise a Family in CT

GREENWICH, CT - A new Brookings Institute analysis revealed that thanks to record inflation, American families are paying $26,011 more to raise a child. The cost to raise a child through high school is now on average more than $300,000.

Political outsider and U.S. Senate Candidate Leora Levy denounced Biden and Blumenthal for supporting reckless inflationary policies, followed by recent tax increases on middle class families at a time when Connecticut family budgets are already stretched to the limit.

Statement from Leora Levy on what it costs to raise a family in Biden and Blumenthal’s inflationary economy:

“Our leaders are supposed to make life better for their constituents, but out-of-touch career politician Dick Blumenthal instead champions Biden’s disastrous tax and spend agenda, making life less affordable for Connecticut families every day. Traveling the state and talking with people, Connecticut families are suffering from the mounting stress of how to afford groceries, gas for the car, back-to-school supplies for their children, and more. Many family budgets are at a breaking point as prices continue to rise.

“I am going to Washington to serve the families of Connecticut and make life affordable again. I will vote to stop wasteful spending, support fiscal policies that promote economic growth, and ultimately provide relief for families and their checkbooks.”

About Leora

I am running to take on the far-left whose policies will make our country look more like the Communist Cuba my family and I escaped in 1960 than the United States we have all known and loved. I am running for Senate to lead the fight for freedom. Joe Biden isn't on the ballot in November, but his policies are. The way to beat back Biden is to beat Dick Blumenthal, and I am the political outsider who can get it done.
