The Maine Department of Labor, in partnership with Safal Partners, is hosting a no-cost webinar for employers and training providers on *Wednesday, August 24 from 9-10 a.m. titled ?Cybersecurity/IT Apprenticeships, A Workforce Development Solution.?*

Registered Apprenticeship [ [link removed] ] is a structured yet flexible training program designed to meet the specific needs of employers through on-the-job learning and related classroom instruction. Programs can be sponsored by employers, employer associations, or labor/management groups that can hire and train in a working situation.

In July, the U.S. Department of Labor announced [ [link removed] ] a 120-day National Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint.
