Dear John,
Please join us this Wednesday, August 24, from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 PM for our Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights Town Hall. Due to COVID-19, the event will now take place with the same great guests exclusively on Zoom.
The Women’s Health and Reproductive Town Hall hosted by our office will explain recent decisions by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) and issues raised by the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, including the legal, medical, and practical landscape for abortion care in Charlotte, North Carolina, and across the country.
You can learn more about the event by clicking here.
I'm lawmaker, but first of all I'm a woman and a mother and a grandmother who’s very concerned about this issue, and I know many of you are as well. This discussion, held as a hybrid event in person and virtually, will cover the current landscape for abortion care and reproductive justice.
You can register for this event by clicking here.
From last week's vote in Kansas to the abortion ban just signed into law in Indiana, reproductive rights will continue to be a critical issue. I hope you can join us at 12:00 Noon, this Wednesday, August 24 on Zoom for this important conversation.
Sincerely,
Alma
Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D.
