I’m more of a cat person myself, but I like dogs too!!
Taxpayer – I’ve noticed you’re not a Protecting Dogs Subjected to Experiments Act citizen co-sponsor yet. Will you add your name now? It takes less than 10 seconds, and you’d be directly responsible for saving the lives of thousands of dogs.
We need about 8,000 more folks to show their support for this historic legislation before Tuesday.
Thanks,
Annie

Taxpayer, we’ve reached a MAJOR turning point in the War on Waste.
BREAKING: Congress just introduced a brand NEW bill that would totally defund ALL dog labs run by white coats at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)!
Please sign this taxpayer petition to become an official citizen co-sponsor of the Protecting Dogs Subjected to Experiments Act. Show Congress your support for the boldest dog-saving legislation in history!
Taxpayer, that’s what the media reported. And here’s what you need to know:
You’re paying the salaries of the world’s worst dog abusers.
NIH white coats squander $20 BILLION in taxpayer funds each year to breed and torture puppies, dogs, and other animals for wasteful experiments at home AND abroad.
NIH’s dog experiments are nothing short of mad science.
Rep. Greg Steube called them “unconscionably cruel.” He’s right.
WCW’s #BeagleGate investigation revealed how NIH white coats wasted:
-
$424,000 on experiments where beagles were eaten alive by starving sandflies
-
$1.68 million to poison beagle puppies and cut out their vocal cords so they couldn’t howl in pain while tortured
-
$1.93 million to purpose-breed puppies with extremely painful genetic diseases and slaughter them nine days after they’re born
-
$5.6 million to inject 6-month-old beagles with “mutant bacteria” and cover them in hundreds of blood-sucking insects for seven days
…. and those are just the experiments we know of. NIH white coats consistently REFUSE to respond to our Freedom of Information Act requests, breaking federal law!
NIH’s dog experiments are unarguably wasteful.
Most dog experiments never lead to human treatments. The government itself admits over 95% of drugs that pass in animals fail in humans!
The Protecting Dogs Subjected to Experiments Act is the solution.
This new, WCW-backed bill will make it illegal for NIH white coats to waste another red cent of your tax dollars on cruel dog experiments.
Stop the money. Stop the madness!
Whether or not Congress passes this law depends on whether or not taxpayers bring the right pressure at the right moment. Taxpayer, that moment is now!
Sign the petition to become an official citizen co-sponsor of the Protecting Dogs Subjected to Experiments Act. We must generate a massive outcry from taxpayers within 24 hours!
Let me be clear: this bill wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for your consistent support for WCW:
"The Protecting Dogs Subjected to Experiments Act legislation was introduced in response to taxpayer watchdog organization White Coat Waste Project exposing the amount of funding going to painful and often fatal experiments on beagles." —TIMCAST
Taxpayer, our grassroots supporters are the key to our victories. Whether it’s making phone calls, signing petitions, tweeting at lawmakers, or simply sharing our blogs, your advocacy is the reason why WCW is the only group to shut down a government dog lab in nearly two decades.
