This is disgraceful -- it’s obvious who the Trump administration is working for, and it’s not the American people.
After passing massive tax breaks for the wealthiest corporations (his favorite donors), Trump formalized draconian new rules that will take food stamps from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) away from nearly 700,000 Americans.
And if that weren’t enough, his administration is also working on rules that would take them from nearly 3 million additional Americans -- including disabled adults -- and revoke automatic eligibility for free or reduced school lunches from nearly 1 million children.
We can’t let this fall by the wayside. If you believe we need to protect those who Trump won’t, we need you to make your voice heard and demand Congress step in on behalf of the most vulnerable:
