A Year Since President Biden's Disastrous Withdrawal From Afghanistan

One year ago President Biden made the rushed and disastrous decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. Hundreds of Americans were abandoned in Afghanistan, billions of dollars of military equipment was allowed to fall in to the Taliban’s hands, and tragically, 13 American servicemen and women were murdered in the chaos. The House Foreign Affairs Committee Republicans have released a report that demonstrates how the Biden administration based their decision to withdraw on politics and panic rather than logic or reason. House Republican Leader McCarthy, along with Ranking Members McCaul, Rogers, Turner, and Comer have also penned an op-ed to demand President Biden be held accountable for the unmitigated disaster he caused in Afghanistan. Americans Are Living Paycheck to Paycheck

Thanks to the Biden administrations’ reckless policies, inflation continues to remain at near record highs. The skyrocketing price of necessary goods such as food and gas will cost the average household nearly $6,000. At the grocery store, food is at its highest price since 1979. Under the Biden economy, 61% of Americans are now living paycheck to paycheck. Regrettably, the Democrats’ solution to spend more, will only make things worse.

Despite the Democrats’ claims, the reconciliation bill President Biden signed in to law this past week is not a win for Americans. This bad bill will spend hundreds of billions on Green New Deal priorities and force middle-class Americans to bear the brunt of the cost. The bill also nearly doubles the budget of the IRS, allowing the agency to hire 87,000 more agents to increase enforcement efforts. What does this mean for hardworking Americans? A recent analysis shows that those with an annual income of $75,000 or less will be subject to 60% of the additional tax audits under the Democrat-funded IRS.

President Biden is Worsening the Border Crisis

For almost every month President Biden has been in office, there have been over 150,000 illegal border crossings. In July alone, there were at least 10 more suspects on the FBI’s terrorist database that were apprehended at our southern border. President Biden’s response to these shocking numbers was to end President Trump’s successful ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy. The Democrats’ open border policies are dangerous for Americans. Donations to FeedNC go directly to help a neighbor in need

With inflation causing food prices to soar, it is great to see the Tenth District coming together to help those in need. Over 5,000 pounds of food was donated at FeedNC's recent summer food drive. One group that participated was the Queen City Corvette Club, which had 27 Corvettes drive to FeedNC to drop off their donations. Thank you to all who participated in the food drive.
