Hey folks – hope you’re having a good Sunday! After winning the primary earlier this month, I wanted to take some time to relax with my family:

I took this picture from a family reunion at Otsego Lake State Park, and I can say this with full confidence: nothing beats a summer weekend in Michigan!

Getting outdoors not only reminds me of how beautiful our state is – it reminds me of what I’m fighting for in Congress.

I think about the Inflation Reduction Act’s record-breaking investment in green energy. I think about the bill I passed to keep hazardous pollutants out of our drinking water. And I think about what more we need to do to confront climate change.

Whenever I’m out in nature, I remember one rule: leave it better than you found it. And I’m in Congress to make sure our children and grandchildren can enjoy our country’s natural beauty decades from now – just as much as I enjoy it now.

Before I go, my campaign’s mid-quarter deadline is tonight, and we need 32 individual contributions to stay on track to reach our FEC goal next month. Will you chip in $5 or more to help us hit our goal and win this race for MI-11?
