You won’t believe what I’m watching this holiday season //

John,

This weekend, as I was looking for what to watch next, I scrolled past all the holiday classics I enjoy every year. But this time, I thought I’d rewatch something I liked even more than Die Hard – Jagmeet’s incredible debate performance during the campaign.

It’s nerdy, I know – but that was the moment I knew Jagmeet and our team were going to exceed everyone’s expectations.

Jagmeet was passionate in his defence of the issues that matter to Canadians – and clear that New Democrats won’t stop fighting for things like universal pharmacare and real action to stop the climate crisis.

The best part of rewatching this debate is seeing how, in the handful of months since then, Jagmeet has continued to fight for these same issues – and make Justin Trudeau’s Liberals sit up and take notice. But that’s why it’s so critical that we keep going no matter what – so we can keep making a difference for people. Will you chip in $3 right now to help?

Chip in!

John, at the beginning of the campaign, Jagmeet and our team were being counted out. By the end, we had the most popular party leader, had grown our movement by millions online and across the country, and had made sure important issues like the treatment of the community of Grassy Narrows were a part of the national conversation.

And when the dust settled, we found ourselves in a strong position in a minority government. John, thanks to what we built together, we have an opportunity to stand strong on our issues and make a difference for people.

But to do it, we need to show the other parties that we’re strong. We need to have supports in place across the country to make sure we’re ready to campaign on our issues – or be ready for an election that could come at any time. We’ve come so far, and now we need to dig deep and hit our critical end-of-year fundraising target to keep going. Will you chip in $3 right now?

Thanks, John,

What's the deal with the tax credit?

Donations to the NDP are eligible for a generous tax credit which means you get to help us fight for what people need and get a nice big return at tax time – it's win-win!

You get 75% of the first $400 you give. So at the end of the day, you spend $100 – but our team can invest $400 to build on our campaign momentum, stand up for everyday Canadians, and start 2020 strong and ready for anything.

Donate before December 31 and get the max out of your tax return.
