We fund voter protection

Apparently, it’s not enough for Republicans to pass ridiculous voter suppression laws in a thinly-veiled attempt at protecting election integrity.

Now, they’re also challenging laws that have directly expanded voting access.

In Pennsylvania, Republicans challenged the state’s mail-voting law, asserting that the state Legislature doesn’t have the authority to allow voters to cast mail ballots without an excuse.

But John, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected Republicans’ challenge and upheld the state’s law.

Every time Republicans’ anti-democracy challenges and laws are rejected, it’s a reminder of just how unconstitutional and unpopular their culture wars really are.

But we can’t get too comfortable. The next Republican challenge to voting access is right around the corner, and we’ve got to do everything we can to ensure we protect voting rights across the country.

That’s why we’re funding voter protection staff in battleground states, to help build a movement for democracy and empower voters to make their voices heard.

So we’re coming to you: Will you donate a few dollars to Power the Vote right now? We’re running a massive voter protection effort in key states across the country, and we could really use your help to continue our work all the way through the November election and beyond.

Can we count on you for $10 or $15?

We Fund Voter Protection

In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.

We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships.

Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
