This poll shows that every single vote in this district will matter. But thankfully, I’m no stranger to tough elections. In 2018, with the support of grassroots donors and a scrappy volunteer base, I was able to turn out voters to defeat a four-term Republican and flip my hometown district from red to blue. In 2020, I was one of the few Blue Wave Democrats to hold my seat, this time against an extreme Trump Republican. Less than five seats make up our Majority – which means we need to be prepared to hold the line on NewDem swing seats at all costs.
