Friend,

Healthcare is a human right. No one should ever have to avoid the doctor, ration medicine, or go bankrupt due to medical bills.

When healthcare is a human right, there is only one solution: Medicare For All.

Medicare For All ensures that every American will always have healthcare no matter what. If you lose your job, if you fall ill, if you have pre-existing conditions. No matter what.

Donate today to help me fight for Medicare for All. No Mainer should have to choose between going to the doctor or paying for essential needs. [[link removed]]

Some politicians say there are “easier approaches” to guaranteeing healthcare for all. One of those industry-sponsored solutions is known as Medicare For All Who Want It .

To put it simply, Medicare For All Who Want It is a covert way of saying the wealthiest and healthiest Americans won’t have to contribute to the single-payer pool, and that insurance corporations won’t see their profits significantly harmed.

Under this so-called “cost-effective” plan, crucial services will continue to go underfunded. American families will go on filing bankruptcy due to medical debt. Millions more will remain underinsured, or not insured at all. When insurance lobbyists tell you a plan is “cost-effective,” they mean it is effective only for them.

Medicare For All Who Want It is just bad policy. Any approach that allows greedy insurance corporations to decide whether you live or die by the amount in your bank account is wrong.

We are in a battle between what is right, and what is easy. This battle can’t be won by politicians dependent on corporate cash and special interests.

This is a job for a movement – a people-powered grassroots campaign ready to do the work, stand up to the naysayers, and fight to win.

I will fight big pharma. I will fight the insurance companies. I will fight like hell for Medicare For All.

In Solidarity,

Betsy
