Mikie and Liz Cheney disagree on many, if not most policy decisions, but they agree on some fundamentals: protecting our democracy and putting the country before politics. That’s what Mikie has always done -- ever since she swore an oath to protect the Constitution for the first time at the Naval Academy at 18 years old.
That’s why you’ll see Mikie and Liz Cheney both working to get to the bottom of the January 6th attack and to make sure something like that never happens again. And you’ll see them working together on the Armed Service Committee to strengthen our national defense and make sure veterans get the health care, resources, and support they need and the benefits they have earned.
Like Mikie said this week when Wyoming went to the polls: "Few people have shown more political courage in defense of our democracy than Liz Cheney. I am sorry the people of Wyoming haven’t chosen to reward that courage, but I am sure history will."
For Mikie, representing New Jersey is about coming up with solutions, not partisan politics. She’s up for re-election this November and needs grassroots supporters like you to step up. Will you chip in a few dollars to our campaign? Even a few bucks helps a great deal.
