This week, two new polls dropped showing Mandela Barnes ahead of Republican Senator Ron Johnson in Wisconsin — including one poll that shows Barnes increasing his lead by 5 points since June.

Polls like these are just a snapshot of public opinion at one moment in time. But with less than three months to go until Election Day, all signs are pointing to Wisconsin as being one of our best shots to expand the Democratic majority in the Senate by electing a progressive champion.
For the last eight years, millionaire Ron Johnson has failed Wisconsin working families.
He was deeply involved in Donald Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election. He has dismissed the horrific effects repealing Roe will have on people in Wisconsin and across the country. And he has even suggested ending entitlement programs like Medicare and Social Security.
We have a real shot at defeating him in November and sending a Working Families Party champion to the Senate to take his place in Mandela Barnes. But we know Ron Johnson and his millionaire and billionaire friends aren’t about to give up.
There are less than three months until Election Day, John. If we’re going to expand the Democratic majority so that senators like Joe Manchin don’t matter anymore, we need folks from across the country to step up and help power our get out the vote efforts today.
