It’s up to us to elect reproductive rights champions.
Friend,
We’ve seen what happens when abortion is on the ballot in 2022 – and women are fueling this fight.
Just recently in Kansas, we witnessed a massive turnout of voters decide to keep the right to an abortion in the Kansas state constitution. With Roe v. Wade overturned, it’s up to us to elect pro-abortion rights officials at the state level who will fight back against anti-abortion extremists. Women are making their voices heard in record numbers.
One study from a leading data firm showed that Democrats out-registered Republicans in Kansas by nine points since the Dobbs decision. What’s even more incredible – 70% of all those new voter registrations were women, and we’re seeing this pattern in some of our other battleground states like Michigan and Wisconsin too. Just like in 2018, women are fighting back against extremists who don’t align with their values.
Our AGs in those states are refusing to defend those states’ Republican-led abortion bans – and we need to have their backs.
