A few days ago I wrapped up an 8 day, 800-mile bus tour through Iowa. Along the way I was honored to meet over 3,200 Iowa caucus-goers and make the case for why I think I am the best candidate to lead our party and beat Donald Trump next November.

All along the way in coffee shops, VFW and American Legion halls, and community centers, I heard from Americans who are desperate for a different kind of leadership than what they are seeing from our President today.

They want a president who measures days by the people brought together rather than the divisions sown.

That's why I'm running for president. But I'm not doing this alone. I know that I've got folks like you in Washington who are stepping up in this important moment to do their part.

Tomorrow is our crucial mid-month fundraising deadline. We need to raise $180,000, or we'll fall short of our goal.
