Hello – I’m emailing to ask you for $15.

Here’s why: The polls show me neck and neck with Chuck Grassley – and according to the latest Des Moines Register poll, Grassley is quickly losing support while we are gaining ground. 

I know $15 might not sound like much, but that’s how we’ve been building momentum and made Iowa one of the most competitive Senate races in the country. With tens of thousands of people like you giving even just $15, we’ve built a powerful grassroots campaign.

But Mitch McConnell and his Super PACs are determined to stop us and defeat me at any cost. They know that if we turn Iowa blue, Democrats are guaranteed to hold onto the Senate. That’s why I need you now to help me defeat Chuck Grassley. 

I’ve set a goal to raise $50,000 before our midnight fundraising deadline, but we’re still $19,737 short. And with Grassley just launching a new round of attack ads to defeat me, we cannot afford to fall even one dollar short.

Since you started reading this email, another four people will have already donated their $15 to help me win, but I’m counting on you to chip in now too. 

Please, this cannot wait. Will you split a donation of $15 or more right now between my campaign and American Bridge PAC – our average donation is $28.79 – before this critical midnight deadline to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue and protect our Democratic Senate majority?
