Imagine a countryside without any partridges, turtle doves or calling birds? That depressing future is fast becoming a reality. A recent report showed that turtle dove populations have plummeted by 98% in recent years. Similarly, the partridge population has dropped by 92% since 1970.
And a major cause of these catastrophic declines? The overuse of pesticides.
We believe it is not too late to reverse the devastation, but time is running out. That’s why I need your help. Last week I told you about the PAN UK Action Fund. I’d be so delighted if you could chip in whatever you can afford to help fund our commitment to protect the countryside.
