Friend,
Have you heard about this?
Late last month, a U.N. investigator accused “the Jewish lobby” of “controlling the media” during an interview.
The investigator, Miloon Kothari, is part of the U.N. Human Rights Council’s supposedly “independent” International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. This commission is one-sided and destined to find Israel “guilty,” and now these comments have only highlighted the bias of those supposedly conducting an investigation.
Fortunately, the COI Elimination Act — introduced in the House of Representatives in March and supported by 98 members of Congress from both parties — addresses the commission’s stark bias. The bill would limit any U.S. contributions to the U.N. pertaining to the investigation and states that the U.S. should work to abolish the commission as a whole.
The bill has strong bipartisan support. Speak up today, make sure your member of Congress knows how important this is to you — urge them to support this crucial legislation.
