“Six feet away, or I’m going to deck you. If you come into my space, you’re going down.”

That’s what Paul LePage told one of our staff members at a recent campaign event.

I wish I could say that I’m surprised, but physical threats like this are exactly the type of behavior we’ve come to expect of LePage. He’s erratic, dangerous, and embarrassing. And he hasn’t changed one bit.

Bullies like Paul LePage have no place in Maine’s politics. He’s a threat to democracy who isn’t afraid to threaten anyone who he doesn’t like. We need to keep him out of office and keep Maine moving forward. Will you help us stop Paul LePage by donating any amount you can?

This isn’t the first time LePage has shown us he’s unfit to hold office. He’s gone on homophobic rants, called to bring back the guillotine and publicly execute people, threatened to blow up a newspaper office, told the NAACP to kiss his butt…and that’s only a sample.

The worst part? LePage isn’t all talk. He’ll use his power as governor to target LGBTQ+ Mainers, attack people who speak out against him, and undo all the progress Gov. Mills and Democrats have made over the last four years while he’s been hiding in Florida.

Paul LePage will always be an embarrassment to Maine. We need to step up and show him once and for all that his behavior and beliefs have no home here. Pitch in $5 now.
