A big thank you to all the candidates and attendees who came to our NY-10 Meet-and-Greet to connect with candidates in the Democratic Primary for New York's 10th Congressional District.
If you missed it, you can catch this recap produced by News 12 ([link removed]) .
To receive BYD's endorsement in a race, a candidate must receive at least 51% of the vote. The results of our NY-10 endorsement poll are in: because no candidate reached the 51% threshold, BYD will not endorse in the race.
For the purposes of transparency and to give a sense of where our membership stands, we'd like to share the results of the ballot below:
* Carlina Rivera: 43%
* Yuh-Line Niou: 36%
* Jo Anne Simon: 15%
* Mondaire Jones: 3%
* Dan Goldman: 3%
* Liz Holtzman: 0%
Like the district itself, our membership has diverse opinions on who will best represent NY-10 in Congress. We're grateful to the candidates for participating in our process, and for taking seriously the issues important to young people in NY-10 and across Brooklyn!
