Friend, my mom was 15-years-old when she was sexually assaulted and became pregnant.  

Access to abortion saved her life.

Fifteen years later my mom had completed her education, married, and was ready to start a family. That’s where I come in ❤️

I wouldn’t be here writing to you today if my mom hadn’t had access to safe and legal abortion care. I’m thankful that she had the opportunity to make her own choice, and that she is open to sharing her story with other young women like me so that we know our bodies and our futures are ours.

I’m extremely scared of what the future holds for the next 15-year old girl who becomes pregnant. With the Supreme Court decision, her rights are completely dependent on what state she lives in.

Republicans in Congress have already put forward legislation that would ban abortion with no exceptions. The GOP is now just 5 seats shy of getting the House Majority and having the votes to pass their nationwide abortion ban.

I’m managing Dr. Kermit’s campaign because I know from personal experience what’s at stake this November.

I’m proud to be working for a pro-choice doctor, and excited that we have one of the best chances in the country at flipping a red seat blue in November.
