Folks, I’ve always believed that there’s no better state than Nevada to hold the Democratic Party’s first primary contest.
The Silver State is rich in culture and diversity – just like the membership of the Democratic Party. But listen, if we can’t show that Democrats in Nevada can win when we work hard, making this pitch is going to be incredibly tough.
As Democrats, I know we have what it takes to keep Nevada blue and make our state the first to vote in the presidential primaries. But I’m in a tough race that experts are calling a true “toss-up.” Will you chip in $15 or more to help my campaign win in November?
Nevadans deserve the absolute best representation in Congress. It’s why I ran in the first place and why I know that my extremist opponent doesn’t fit the bill to be our next representative.
We’ve always been a state where common sense has prevailed over rash decision making, and we’re better because of it.
In Congress, amidst one of the greatest water crises our country has faced, I led the charge to pass legislation that would revamp our state’s water security.
It wasn’t partisanship or MAGA values that got this done – it was working across the aisle and voting in the best interests of every Nevadan that did.
Our next representative in Nevada’s Third District needs to be someone who leads with a proven steady hand. I’m confident that my record shows that, but I know April Becker will put politics over people the first chance she has.
This election will determine the future of every value we hold close to us as Nevadans. I’m running to preserve our rights, bolster our economy, and put Nevada first in all that I do – including the fight to bring the first Democratic presidential primary to our state.
