Even in moderate places like Ohio, gerrymandering has let unchecked Republicans pass extremist laws that could never make it through Congress.

Since the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, legislatures in states with structural Republican advantages, like Ohio are defying the will of the people by passing or implementing some of the most extremist anti-abortion laws.

And it’s not just in Ohio – across the country, some of our most basic rights are under attack by extremist Republicans. We have to fight back.
