I hope you and your family are well! I wanted to provide you with a few updates regarding what’s going on –

COVID-19 and Medical Freedom 

The CDC has recently released new "guidance" that has finally stopped discriminating between the vaccinated and unvaccinated. Far too many Americans lost their livelihoods or were forced to get a shot in the name of "following the science." Unvaccinated Americans were discriminated against and treated as second-class citizens due to these arbitrary “guidelines” from a politicized government agency, and now the CDC has basically affirmed what many of us have been saying all along. I will continue to keep fighting for medical freedom for Americans and the right to refuse the COVID shot.

American Energy Independence 

Instead of increasing taxes on American energy production and throwing away $350 BILLION to fund failed Green New Deal initiatives through the Democrats’ reckless “Inflation Expansion Act,” we should unleash American energy production.

President Biden and Democrats should end their war on American energy and commit to new leases, faster permits, and an end to the regulatory assault on pipelines. Instead, President Biden is making energy more expensive and less reliable here in the US while he simultaneously begs dictators and foreign adversaries for fossil fuels and ships our strategic oil reserves to China rather than greenlighting American energy production. Let’s flip the switch and make America energy independent again!

Protecting Children's Innocence from Destructive Ideologies

Boston Children's Hospital has recently been producing videos to discuss a variety of "transgender" related topics concerning children. One video discussed the various types of hysterectomies the hospital can perform (on minors). Another mentioned a child as young as four wanting to play with a toy typically enjoyed opposite gender as a sign the child is trans.

This normalization of trans ideology directed at children is abuse, and its glorification by the corporate media is evil. Manipulating children is grooming behavior and has no place in our schools or our publicly funded medical institutions. Our children are our greatest asset, and must be protected above all else. There's no middle ground on this issue. We're at war to protect our children from abuse and mutilation.

It is no secret our American children are being harmed and exploited by dangerous gender ideology, and the Biden White House is now pushing for children to permanently mutilate their bodies with irreversible and deeply-damaging “sex reassignment” surgeries. Any person who commits such a damaging medical act on a minor should be held accountable for abuse. As parents, we have the responsibility to protect innocent children from exploitive practices like “sex reassignment” surgeries or puberty blockers that cause harm to children suffering from a deeper issue. This is why I have cosponsored the “Prohibiting Gender Affirming Care on Minors Act of 2022” to charge any person who knowingly performed such practices on a minor with a class C felony, prohibit all taxpayer-funded “gender affirming care,” prohibit higher education institutions from providing instruction on this type of bodily harm, and prohibit aliens who have performed this type of abuse from receiving a visa to be admitted to the United States.

Allowing and enabling children to do irreparable damage to their bodies is evil, and the fact that medical professionals and the federal government are exploiting minors in the name of “gender affirmation” is disgusting. We cannot allow such a destructive and abusive practice to continue to happen to our innocent children who deserve protection. We will continue to fight to make this terrible practice unthinkable. Middle Class Americans to Fund Biden's Radical Agenda

Americans earning less than $400,000 (a group Biden promised not to tax) will pay around $20 BILLION more in taxes over the next decade to fund the Democrats' $740 billion package meant to reduce inflation. Maybe that’s what the 87,000 IRS agents are for… In reality, the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act will only increase taxes and exacerbate inflation to further weaponize the IRS and fund the Left’s radical rush-to-green wish list. Biden's Border Crisis

Border crossings reached a record never seen in history with migrant encounters this year surpassing TWO MILLION. We know this is only a fraction of those actually crossing the border since many are undetected. Every state is now a border state because of Biden's Border Crisis.

Legislative Action

I cosponsored Rep. Ben Cline's H.R.8702 to  prohibit the implementation of the proposed rule entitled "Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities," or the "Taxpayers Support Life Act." This bill blocks a proposed rule that would require health care entities that participate in federal health programs to pay for or provide abortion. 

I cosponsored Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's "Prohibiting Gender Affirming Care on Minors Act of 2022" to protect children nationwide from undergoing deeply damaging "sex reassignment" surgeries or puberty blockers. 

In the District

A 12-year-old bowler from Clinton who has been bowling since he was nearly 18 months away placed second in national event. He placed second out of 227 U12 boys in the USBC Junior Gold Championship in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The road next to Laurens Middle School was renamed in honor of Bill Ramey, a long-time educator in Laurens. His years of hard work were honored as the road next to Laurens Middle School was renamed in his honor.
